FADA ENGINEERING
Discover FADA’s 50-ton straddle carrier designed for BESS container transport and other heavy industrial loads. Reliable, efficient, and engineered for both indoor and outdoor use.
FADA’s 50-ton straddle carrier is a high-capacity material handling vehicle engineered for both indoor and outdoor operations. Designed to lift and transport Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) containers, heavy modules, and similar industrial components, it provides exceptional maneuverability and lifting stability across variable terrains.
Unlike conventional lifting systems, the straddle carrier operates independently without the need for overhead cranes or rails. Its self-propelled design, combined with hydraulic lifting technology, allows it to pick, lift, and position loads directly from the ground.
This makes it an ideal solution for factories, logistics hubs, and energy production sites where modular and high-weight equipment must be moved efficiently.
Load Capacity: Up to 50 tons
Operation Type: Diesel-electric or fully electric versions available
Lifting System: Hydraulic synchronized lifting for stability and balance
Drive Configuration: All-wheel steering for optimal maneuverability
Control Options: Remote or cabin operation
Safety Features: Integrated sensors, load monitoring, and automatic braking systems
With its robust chassis and intelligent control architecture, the vehicle ensures smooth handling and precise load placement even in confined industrial environments.
While BESS transportation is one of its primary use cases, the 50-ton straddle carrier is also widely used in:
Transformer and power equipment manufacturing
Steel, construction, and heavy machinery industries
Port and terminal logistics for modular cargo handling
Its adaptability allows seamless integration into various industrial operations, significantly reducing downtime and dependency on cranes.
As part of FADA’s commitment to sustainable engineering, electric straddle carrier models contribute to lower emissions and energy-efficient material transport. Combined with FADA’s global service network covering more than 20 countries, every vehicle is backed by comprehensive after-sales support and spare part availability.
