FADA ENGINEERING'S CONTRIBUTION TO DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION
The National Workshop on Digital Transformation in the Future of Turkey's Manufacturing Sector was successfully completed on June 11, 2024. As FADA Engineering, we participated in this significant event, organized under the coordination of ISO and supported by the EU and the Republic of Turkey's Ministry of Labor and Social Security, within the scope of the “Future Jobs in the Manufacturing Sector: Talent Development with a Focus on Gender Equality (ManuFoW)” project.
The event began with an opening speech by ISO Deputy Secretary General Hakan Çoban. Following this, Project Coordinator Aykan Gürcü presented, and representatives from our project partner Consulta shared the preliminary results of the Fundamental Research and Needs Analysis.
During the workshop, important discussions were held on the digital transformation process and future jobs in Turkey's manufacturing sector. Based on the preliminary results of the shared Fundamental Research and Needs Analysis, the needs and solution proposals of the sector were discussed.
The main topics discussed included:
• Digital Transformation Tools and Services
• Challenges and Solutions in Businesses
• Benefits and Awareness of Digital Transformation in Industry
• Workforce Training and Development
• Gender Equality Policies and Strategies
With valuable contributions from the participants, a productive discussion environment was provided on critical issues such as the role of digital transformation in the manufacturing sector, gender equality, the development of new talents, and future jobs. The results of the workshop will form the basis of the Roadmap report, prepared to determine the future workforce needs and contribute to the digital transformation of Turkey's manufacturing sector.
